Scott attended Southern Methodist University and graduated with a major in Business Administration & minor in Broadcast Journalism. He started to work for the Dallas Cowboys in 1990. He met Pamela in 1997 while she was a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. Scott is now the Director of Broadcasting for the Dallas Cowboys. In 2008, Scott help oversee the construction of Cowboys Vision at ATT Stadium and flew to Japan to advise on the construction of the center hung video board. He manages all the Dallas Cowboys Radio & Television content that can be heard and seen in over 100 markets thoughout the Southwest.
In October 2008, Scott & Pamela opened Legacy Dance Center. Today, the Purcels have made a significant impact on the lives of many young dancers as they have created a state of the art 10,000 sq ft facility training young dancers in North Texas.
Scott has a special interest in transforming the lives of those with communications disorders and in October 2014, he was elected to the Board of Trustees and Officers for the University of Texas Dallas Callier Center for Communications Disorders.
Scott & Pamela have been married since 2002 and have two children. Benjamin is deaf & wears cochlear implants. He is active in Dance & Soccer and Bailey is a Dancer.
