KaShara Garrett

KaShara Garrett, from Irvine, KY, grew up actively involved at her mother’s tumbling and cheer gym, Andy’s Gymnastics where she competed allstar cheer and dance for 16 years. Garrett attended and taught at Laura’s School of Dance in Richmond, KY training in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop, and Tap. 

Garrett attended Eastern Kentucky University where she was a 4 year member & Captain of the EKU Dance Team which placed in the top 5 at UDA Nationals in both pom and hip hop. She graduated Cum Laude from EKU with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education and Health.

 After college, Garrett made the team as one of America’s Sweethearts, being a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader from 2015-2019. During Garrett’s time as a DCC, she was voted Rookie of the Year in 2015, a member of show group, group leader for 2 years, selected to travel on the 83rd USO Tour, as well as the NFL Pro Bowl Representative in 2018. Garrett has shared the stage with top performers such as Meghan Trainor, Jordan Fisher, Eric Church, Thomas Rhett and Luke Bryan. Currently, Garrett is working full-time with the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. 

KaShara Garrett is excited to share her love of dance with the LDC Dancers this year as our newest faculty member.

Monday 6p-7pm Hip Hop 6-8 years  

Tuesday 7-8pm Hip Hop 9 – 11yrs

Wednesday 8 – 9pm Hip Hop 12yrs & up
